Apulia dreaming

Ulivi. Distese di ulivi a perdita d’occhio.

E la terra rossa, di fuoco, sabbiosa.

In contrasto, chilometri di muretti di sassi bianchi impilati a secco. Equilibrismi, i fichi d’india posti a guardia.

The Photo Challenge #26 – Relax

You say the word “relax“, I think about the sea.

This picture was taken in Mykonos, a few years back, right before I graduated with my bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies. Mykonos is typically very crowded with tourists in the summer, but I happened to be there in late september, off-season. In my opinion, that is the best period to visit such an island because you have two opportunities at the same time: enjoy the beauty of the island and relax during the day and have a lot of fun during the endless dancing nights.
